The computers used in coin-operated game machines use programmable devices to store their operating system program. Usually programmed onto an EPROM (erasable programmable read-only memory), these chips eventually fail causing intermittant crashing of the computer. These devices are used on the MPU board, the sound and speech boards and some displays. If you are not sure which chips you need, feel free to write us at Sales@Twobits.com and we'll get right back to you.
All programmed devices are tested in an actual game board before shipping.
