ALLOWS 25¢ PLAY ON 50¢ ONLY PINBALLS
Around 1993, the manufacturers of Williams pinball machines decided that it should cost 50¢ to play a game. They removed the option from the computer’s program which allowed the owner of the game to accept a single coin and start a game. While we at TWO BIT SCORE are certainly in favor of an increase in the price-per-play, we also recognize the need, in certain situations, for the operator to be able to lower the price.
In response, we have designed a tiny circuit board which plugs into the MPU (main processor unit) of the game and fools the computer into thinking that two coins have been dropped each time a single coin is inserted.
